His Story
About Bailey
Bailey Cain More • March 20, 1995 – April 21, 2025

Remembering Bailey
Bailey was born in Frederick, MD to Marty and Christina More. He attended St. John's Episcopal School in Olney, MD and graduated from Glenelg Country School in 2013. He went on to attend American International College in Springfield, MA, where he majored in business and — more importantly — played Division I Ice Hockey as a power forward. He developed lifelong friendships playing college hockey with “his boys.”
Bailey was active at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Damascus, MD, where he served as an acolyte, youth group member, and participant in work camps — traveling to underserved areas of the country to do home repairs for families in need.
He played baseball and basketball during his undergraduate years and excelled in both. Bailey was a passionate golfer who traveled the country and beyond to play the top courses on his bucket list. He organized golf trips with his 1,000 Greens and Friars Club fellow members alongside his father, mother, and friends. Among his favorites were Bandon Dunes, Sleepy Hollow, Ridgewood, The Golf Club, Old Town Club, Camargo, and over 100 other top-200 courses. He was on the verge of becoming a Golf Digest course rater.
He was a member of Montgomery Country Club in Laytonsville, MD, where he played as many Saturday mornings as possible with the Duffy group. He and his family frequently visited his parents at their southern home in Long Cove Club on Hilton Head Island, where many cherished memories were made.
His Passions
A Life Fully Lived
Music
Bailey was an accomplished musician who entertained attendees at his parents' Christmas parties and played alongside his hockey teammates in hotel lobbies wherever a piano could be found. He studied Keyboard Musicianship, Theory, and the Guild Audition Tests, and attended Organ camp, fascinated by the mechanics of the instrument.
Hockey
As a Division I power forward at American International College, Bailey lived and breathed hockey. The friendships he forged on the ice — with “his boys” — lasted a lifetime. His competitive spirit and love of the game defined his college years.
Golf
Bailey was a passionate golfer who played over 100 of America's top-200 courses. From Bandon Dunes to Sleepy Hollow, he traveled the country fulfilling his bucket list. A member of Montgomery Country Club and the 1,000 Greens and Friars Club, he was about to become a Golf Digest course rater.
Travel & Adventure
Bailey and his wife Bailey G traveled the world together — the Maldives for their honeymoon, Vienna for the F-1 race, Cinque Terra in Italy, Christmas markets in Germany, Paris, France, Calgary, Edmonton, Canada, and the Grand Canyon with his sister Tessa.
Family
The People He Loved Most
Bailey met the love of his life, Bailey Greseth More, in St. Anne's Youth Group when they were in middle school. He attended Bailey G's pom performances while she attended his hockey games. Their relationship survived the distance between AIC in Massachusetts and UCF in Florida where Bailey G went to school — due in large part to Bailey's talent for finding cheap flights between the two states. They wed on October 16, 2021.
Their daughter, Stella Autumn More, was born on January 31, 2024 in Frederick, MD. They shared their love of travel with Stella, jetting off to the Great Smoky Mountains, Hilton Head Island, Kingsland (Georgia), Venice (Florida), and more — visiting family and making memories every step of the way.
Bailey is survived by his wife Bailey G More, daughter Stella, cat Julius, parents Marty and Christina, sister Tessa and her partner Lon Morris, and paternal grandmother Joan More. He is also survived by his friends Bryant Christian and Ryan Rogers, along with members of his Tony Gray hockey team and MCC MGA group.
He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him — a loving and attentive husband and father, devoted son, loyal brother, and steadfast friend whose memory will live on in our hearts forever.
